  1. I have been using smartripper to rip DVD's but I notice that my rip speed is fluxuating. It goes up to about 4 then down to .3 then up to 3.8 then down again. Anyone else having this problem. And does anyone know a way to fix it or a better dvd ripper? Thanks

I use SmartRipper v 2.34 and it works great. I have heard it can have problems on AMD's though. Try using CladDVD. Check under the tools area for the link.
