I have an 83 mb MPEG file that lasts 8 minutes when I open it in VirtualDub. If I play the file in any other player, like WMP, WinDVD, it only plays the first minute of the movie, and after 1 minute, the video stops, but the audio just continues (in WMP). I tried demultiplexing, but when I did that, I only got a 8 mb M1V. I tried editing and saving it again with TMPGENCs mpeg editor, didn't work either. I had this problem before, I fixed it, but I can't remember how I did that. My quess would be with TMPGENC's mpeg editor, but this time it doesnt work with that either.
I also tried MPEG corrector, but that doesnt fix it either.
Anyone got any ideas?

Save it as an AVI in VirtualDub, you can then re-encode it if you so need.

Can I reencode it, and with what codec/settings for the least quality loss? -
Choose the option to save as an uncompressed AVI and choose full processing mode. This should do the trick
