Mustek 560 and DVD R/RW or +R/+RW

I have a Mustek 560 DVD-player and I´m having problem with playing DVD R/RW and +R/+RW.
It seems like it should work if you read in the compability list, but you need to have the "right" brand of the disc.
Anybody know if there is a list somwhere of which brands you can use?

I have tried Maxell DVD-R, Pioneer DVD-RW and HP+RW without any luck.
