Movie run fine in media player or if i load it direct to tmpegc. but i need to frameserve it because i want to add subtitles. I have done it few 10 times till now and it allways work. It frameserve fine divx movies and older xvides. it seams only the latest xvid doesnt work (i belive 2-pass) (Red dragon, undercover brother...) a use latest versions of vdub and tmpegc and i have the latest xvid codec instaled...
Can anyone help me, please..... desperate![]()

Have you tried to change the enviromental settings in TMPGEnc?
If you havenīt then read this:http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/119019.php -
yes I tried that.....
I also converted the sound in headac3 and run it seperatly in tmpgenc..
i can open easily any xvid directly in tmpegc..i only have problems with frameserving the latest ones. the oldest work perfectly.CYA!!!! -
whatīs the problem?
Donīt you see the subtitles after the movie is encoded? -
Tmpgenc returns mesage:"File C:\XXXXX.vdr can not open or unsuported"
like it cant frameserve those lates released xvid movies...
i don't know why..(mybe they are protected or the frameserver doesnt support them.) with other divx and not so latest xvid it works perfect.CYA!!!! -
It is possible to use frameserve xvid movies cause I have doing it before.
Try frameserve your movie in Virtual Dub with the name XXXXX.vdr.avi instead of XXXXX.vdr -
i tried that too.
i think there is something diferent about the xvid movies which are made with latest codec. i can frameseve other movies normal.
does anyone know if there is any other posibility to insert subtitles on vcd when converting it from xvid movie.
i can figurate what is wrong with that metod.. does anyone know which frameserve method does use vdub.. does it use its own (auxsetup) or avisinth..or any other...CYA!!!! -
i found out the solution for that f*****g problem....
the filename was to long "Red_Dragon_(2002).CD1.DVDScreener-Repack.dcn.ShareReactor.avi" i change it to Red Dragon.avi and it works now... Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! (What a simple solution)
Thanks for trying me to help Crack_man... THANKS!!!!CYA!!!! -
