    Dear Forum Members:

    Need your help regarding what type of DVD formats can play on my Sony DVP-NS315 (New Sleek Model). Sony's sales representatives could not help me out much and were steering me towards their Sony DRU500AX (which has excellent reviews, but a bit pricy to me). I just wanted know what type of DVD writer should get based on what type of DVD format my player can accept?

    Any feedback or help will be most appreciated.

    I bought the NS315 specifically so I could play my dvd-r's (my dad bought one too) and we have not been dissapointed. I'm sure you're aware that it also plays MP3 disks. Also, I'm guessing you're new to this site so I'll let you know - the DVD Players section has wealth of knowledge from different members on this site (including what you are asking about).
