    I have the following problem with the subtitles. I have an *.srt witch i converted with subrip to an *.son file but in dvdmaestro it says that its an bad file so what can be the problem i am using the doom9 guide and there is not much to find out what the prob can be.

    Did subrip also generate all of the need BMP for/of each subtitle? I would give MaestroSBT a try (you can d/load it from doom9.org). This will generate the son file AND all of the needed BMP files.

    Use SubMax and convert it to .SLT format. Will solve youre prob.
