The new version of DVD2ONE allows you to set the output file size. I set it to 800MB's and with demux-convert-remux made some XSVCD's of TV episodes. Works well upto 45 minutes. Problem will be that some DVD players won't handle the high peak bitrate. All three of my DVD players could handle TNG episodes,but only one(Sampo 612) could perfectly handle Farscape episodes. The Farscape DVD's seeem to be Superbit,Bitrate Viewer indicates an average of 8600 and a peak of 11,000,that's well above the average of 6000,peak 9800 you find on most DVD's.
