The method I followed was to change a setting in the dvdmagic file.

Prior to making the change, I could not deselect titles, they were grayed out or unselectable. After changing the registry the boxes and check marks in the title selection area are activated and selectable.

  4. Search your registry for DVDMagic. It should be in there twice. Change the setting to 1. The default is 0.

  6. If you are refering to the window where you can lower or pump up the % of each title. You have to choose Custom Resize I think. You have to saved the image first, then the screen will pop up. Hope that helps.

i'm using decrypter to rip the dvd then in instant copy i select the video ts folder where decrypter has stored the files then i select the desination folder where i will store the image to burn. so are you saying i need to create the image first in instant copy, then the hack screen should appear?i find the guide not very clear about this

  8. Check custom resize, and on the page that shows you all the titles on the DVD, highlight the ones you want to change the size for. A slider should show up in the left pane with a video preview windows at the top. You can also uncheck the titles you do not want to have on the DVD.

  11. Why not use IFOEdit to stream process your movie first; It creates new IFOs. Then load your project into Instant Copy and it will do the movie only for you... no registry hacks required... I used this method once when I wanted to compare DVD2One with Instant Copy... it works...

Although it creates an extra step, its alot easier than hacking your registry... just a thought...

Okay i downloaded that little file for the hack. When i clicked on it,it asked if i wanted to move it to the registrey and i clicked yes.I assume that was the correct way to do it.As it now works fine and allows me to deselect the gray boxes in instantcopy!

    Yes! Thanks!

Although i wonder why the little gray boxes were not free to deselect to begin with.Must be a bug in the trial demo

With InstantCopy nobody wants to have to fool with IFOedit or any of those other unescessary programs anymore.

As instantCopy is the Perfect All-in-one tool.It even handles the burning

Not really. All i had to do was download a tiny file and click yes when it asked to be moved to the registrey. Now everything works fine

  15. I had the same problems & questions as hawklight. I found all the answer in this thread.

Under the "DVD Tab", I choose "Customized Resize" in the Copy Method drop down box and when I hit the "Start" button, after I navigated to the IFO file from a full rip folder of the original, the "Customize disc" window popped up and I was very happy.
