  1. How can I burn mpeg files to VCD? First I need to link three mpegs together. I tried FFMPEG join mode and then burned linked mpeg file in vcd builder. But there is some errors. And it just burned first 5 minutes

  3. Hi,

first small comment I've been experiencing only bad quality in mpeg joining I must say. The tool that was doing the mpeg joining the most flawlessly was MoreMissingTools (that goes with MMT). However it's always visible.

The message you mentionned seem to show two things :
    - the file has a beginning which is slightly damaged (unaligned) and VCDbuilder "corrects" this and padds the faulty bytes. This typically arrives when you are splitting a mpeg file, but it's only a few 10th of sec in your film. It's normal and does not disturb.

    - the second message is THE problem you meet : there must be some wrong/damaged headers in your mpeg, then VCD builder corrects this by ignoring the rest of the file.

I experienced this as well and there was nothing to do exept :
    - try reparing it with VCDgear or gumby or ??
    - if the wrong/broken headers come from your mpeg joining, try to rather burn them separately
    - try authoring your VCD with something else than VCDbuilder (which is the best tool however), maybe it will take your whole MPEG into account, and burn the faulty mpeg completely (then you may have some reading problems in your DVD player). Try Toast directly (burns in VCD 1.1) or try authoring it with ffmpegX (although I'm not sure if both VCDbuilder and ffmpegX are not using the same tools to author the xa.images)

    Hope this helped.
