    I have downloaded a couple of avi files. They seem to need an uncompressed RGB1 codec but I don't know what this is or where to find it. If anyone can help it would be great.

    Try the program called g-spot it will tell you what codecs you will need to play back the movies.

    Okay I have found Gspot myself. It says that the codec is AVI Splitter. Can anyone give me help with this one please.
