What can I use to insert a logo ... I would like to put an icon type (for logo example the MTV logo) say every 15 minutes or so, to last 30 -45 seconds into my mpegs?

I hear that DVDit has something similar to this ...

    thanks

I would use Video Studio. It has an Overlay feature that puts a jpeg or bitmap file on top of your video. You decide where you want it to go, how long it should last, the strength of the transparency, etc.

Never used it but there is a filter in Virtual dub for adding logos to AVI's.

That is true, but since he wants to use mpeg video, he should make sure he uses the MPEG/AC3 version of Virtual Dub.
