  1. Have just been trying the new Nero 5.5.10.7b and it seems they have fixed up the DVD-Video template. The files are now sorted in the correct order. I've tried some dvd's across a few different players now Sony, Apex, Pioneer and it seems to have made quite compatible disk on all of them.

Just wondering if other people have had any good / bad luck with this new version.

Also wondering what does the "Booktype DVD-Rom" option do?
Couldn't find any information on it.

    Thanks

The DVD Video template doesn't work 100%

I think it also depends on the DVD. With some movies there's no problem, yet with my The Mummy backup I still get the "re-allocation" error and I had to use the ISO/UDF template.

After having severe problems and frustration with version 5.5.10.0, and after finding revelation in some postings, I reverted back to 5.5.9.17 and solved all my problems.

I did DVD-Video disks (on DVD-RW and DVD+RW) using all possible DVD options and they all worked.

When 5.5.10.7 was out, I tried to download it but their server was too busy. When I made it to the download page, 5.5.10.7b was already out. I downloaded it but am having second thoughts in using it.

Don't want to sound funny, but these are my thoughts on 5.5.10.7b. Until I encounter a problem with 5.5.9.17, I think I will stick to that.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

I hear Nero 5.5.10.7b has very many bugs. I'm using Nero 5.5.9.9 and haven't had any problems with it. :P
