    Is there a recommended speed for burning vcd's. Slow, fast, middle of the road ?

    There is no recommended speed it is really dependant on the media you use and your burner. I burn mine at 52 speed and dont have any problems with my current media. Although media I have used in the past would mess up if burnt higher than 8 speed. You just need to test it and see what works for you.
