hello. i hope this is the right forum...
I have a dvd (pulled from usenet) that will not play on my set-top or PowerDVD. the individual vob files are in fine shape (viewed them with powerdvd) and i believe it has to do with the ifo files.
what i'm looking to do is use the vob files in some program to recreate the needed file ifo/bup files so that when i burn my VIDEO_TS folder the movie will play. the dvd is the movie only, no menus, etc.
any help would be appreciated. if this for some reason belongs in the ripping forum i apologize. figured since i'm looking to author a dvd from existing files this forum was a better fit (no ripping, copying, etc being done here)
thank you.

Go to www.ifoedit.com and read the guides. They will show you how to create new ifos. Ifoedit.exe and vobedit.exe are no longer on the site , you will need to get them from another site like vcdhelp.
