What's up guys....I haven't been on for a while do to the fact that i got heavy into PS2 and Xbox mods and stuff like that. But anyways, i don't wanna go off topic.

I've used DVD2One for a couple of movies and so far im very impressed. But i was wondering what i gotta do to keep just the menu in the beginning of the movie? I just wanna have the menu, main movie and audio. All this menu is really for, is for show...I just wanna click the button to start the movie.

LoL...I feel like a noob all over again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  2. i dont see how without using ifoedit, once dvd2one has run simply edit the ifo, then with spruce up and photoshop create a menu, but this will invovle more than 5m per movie to do, thats for sure.

i get about 25 new movies a week at that rate i'll never get thru them, dvd2one plus the burning app and cuz i only got 1 drive i takes 1.5hrs to copy each movie, if ya get like just a few i can see perhaps taking the trouble for a menu but if you are like me and have dozens of friends with dvd movies to borrow from then, here is my advice, forget the menu, just let the movie autostart, bypass the menu, its a feature that is useless anyways.

if ya really want the menu just buy the retail version...if ya want the menu you must truly value the quality of the movie then...is that not the case?

  3. IremainAMisterE: A little off topic here, but we have a 9 year old that likes to play one of my X-Box games, so I would like to back it up. Do you know what is involved to do this?

You can use MakeItEasy (www.doom9.org) to fool DVD2One to create a smaller vobset, thus leaving room for the original menus.

  6. MakeItEasy works and it's not that hard to use, but... prior to mke it easy, my DVD2One DVD-R would play on my X-Box. Once I used Makeiteasy, they no longer would... not sure why.

Well im not really sure if we can talk about "backing up" Xbox games in here Mickey Mouse. But if you send me a pm...We could talk.

Also, thanks for the responses. I guess im gonna have a look at that prog "Make it Easy" and see what's going on there. If in the end, this is gonna be a hastle, then it's really not worth it. My question about the menu was really just curiousity. I don't value quality too too much, because i still make (x)vcd's using Kwags templates.

P.S. No offense to Kawg, i luv your templates bro...They work miracles as well.

  8. Makeiteasy isn't really a hassle... matter of fact I found it pretty easy. Just make sure and take your time on the first one... then you will understand and you can rip right through them.

Okay, i read the forums and how to use MakeItEasy. But to tell you the truth, i don't wanna get involved with using it. I know it sounds simple and all but i think im just gonna wait til the new release of DVD2One comes out with newer options.

P.S. Sorry about the spelling Kwag*

I don't really care what you do in your private life, but there are certain topics that we do not discuss on this forum. Among them is the copying of material you don't have a of "Fair Use" to.
