  1. Hello i have a set of my DVD's that i want to back up but its giving me some issues, its and anime DVD (Slayers) that has episodes on it, i tried to use DVDXCOPY, but it just splits the first disc to 2.3GB and the second to 4.8GB(which is obviously too big) Then i tried to just rip the DVD to my HD with DVD Decrypter so i could just take the vobs with each episode and author them but the fist vob with the first episode starts somewhere like 5-10 minutes into the episode. I want to keep both language tracks(english and japanese) with the subtitles. I dont want to loose quality either, i dont care if its on 2 discs, can anyone help me out. I alsodont want to mess with that whole LONG IFOEdit method, if i had to use it for a few things thats fine. But i tried it once and it didnt work out for me. Any help would be great, thanks.

I am assuming you don't want the menus. I have a way and was going to write a guide, but will tell you how you can do this. It isn't the quickest or easiest method, but will get the job done.

    What you need:

    DVDDecryptor
TMPGEnc or another program that can demux a VOB to AC3 audio
    DVDMaestro

    1. You want to set up to rip your movie with DVDDecryptor in IFO mode. Each PGC should be an episode. You want to demux both audio tracks along with the video. The audio tracks come out as VOBs instead of AC3. Also turn on the option to rip the chapter information.

    2. Demux the audio VOB files to AC3 with TMPGEnc or whatever program you want to use to do this. Make sure you label each track like EP1English, EP1Spanish, or whatever the other language is.

    3. Open up DVDMaestro and import all of your M2V and AC3 tracks.

    4. Go to Movie1 double clicking it so that you can add the assests. Add the video to the top, the English track just under that and then the other language track just under the English one. Then import your chapter information that you created with DVDDecryptor.

    5. Create a new movie for each episode that you want on the disc and will fit based on the size of your video and audio files.

    6. Click the movie folder that is above the individual movies. Right click the blue box under first play and make it Movie1, Chapter1.

    7. Select the first movie and then click the blue box that is to the right of End Action. Make Movie2, Chapter1 the option. Do this for each movie except the last. By doing this you tell DVDMaesto that when the IFO is created that after Movie1 finishes Movie2 will automatically play and so on. When your DVD is created each Movie is actually a Title and the IFO says that after each Title is over to automatically play the next title in order so long as you have done everything properly.

    8. Burn to a RW to verify proper authoring, verify with standalone, and then burn to R if it works properly.
