    it is my understanding that to multiplex, you are taking a video file, and an audio file, and then creating one a/v file with them.

    ie. .m2v + mp2 = .mpg

    to re-encode, you are changing resolution, bitrate, or file format.

    Multiplex is only combine video and audio ?
    When i multiplex mpeg file it seem output file drop quality so i don't sure it do anything with mpeg file?
