  1. The guy who wrote this must be a genious ! I could not tell any difference between origional and the copy of my 2hrs 30 minute movie.

I am still amazed how just 94KB program can do such a good transcode in matter of minutes (I could do it in less than 20 minutes).

I know he has written most parts in ASM, thats a lot of hard core coding.

  3. I couldn't agree with you more. Altough this is my first posting in this forum I have been compiling vcd, svcd, dvdr guides for the past 6 months now from many sources. I downloaded all the utilities that I could.

I was about to start to test those newly acquired encoders and the like when one day I stumbled on a forum thread mentionning DVD2ONE. I was so amazed by the results that so many people were having with it that I even purchased it without trying in the first place.

After backuping 10 movies from my collection I am more than satisfied with this little program . The quality is amazing, of course most of the movies I backed up are less than 2 hours but I also did Aliens wich runs for 155 mins and the quality was the same as the original and even my brother who is a difficult critic agreed with me and he could not make the difference between the original and the copy.

DVD2ONE is almost a savior since I was told by my insurance company that it would cost me around $500 a year to insure my movie collection (+- 250 movies). The only thing I have to do now is to back it up and put it in a safe place in case of you know what...fire, robbery etc..

Maybe I am going to give a try all those other utilities but for the moment it is DVD2ONE that I go with...
