i have a big problem wit tmpgenc and green screen help meplz

ok i use the vcd header trick on my samsung s222 it plays vcd and svcd normally, but i wanted to give my movie to someone who has a sony dvp 315/415 ....the sony only plays vcd's so i wanted to see if it works on mine b4 i give it to the guy wit the sony, and the screen was all green with blocks everywhere freezing and skipping, is this cuz mine already plays these formats, why is it green? where can i find a list of dvd players that support the header trick, what can i do??? thanks guys
