  1. The new TmpgEnc DVD output was m2v and a wav files.
    What do i do next?
    It was m2v and wav instead of mpg.

  2. You need to author the DVD, DVD files are not stored as MPEGs but as a collection of files (VIDEO_TS/VTS_XX see the What is DVDR link to the left).

    There are several programs to author DVDs (again see the links to the left) but IFOEdit is simple and free.

    Tmpgenc created a WAV file? How ? It's sole function is to encode into MPEG streams.

    Use the radio buttons on the main screen to select System (Audio+Video) to create an mpg file. Or, select ES (Video+Audio) to create an m2v and mp2 file. What you do depend's on your authoring s/w. Most require mpg files while others require separate streams.

    IFOedit takes separate streams for example.
    The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
