  1. I don't really know where to post this, so I'll post it here:

I have Easy CD Creator 5.0 and all of the sudden I can't get it to work. When I try to run any of the selections from the project selector I get the following error message"

"Easy CD Creator engine initalization has failed:"

I get these messages when I go into "make VCD" mode

"COM error in AdviseEngine: Unspecified error"

"Vcdcr32 has caused an error in CREATOR.DLL. Vcdcr32 will now close."

And I get this one when I go into "make data CD" mode.

    "Exception in CreateInstance of Creator."

also, every selection gives me the same error as the Vcdcr32 one above, but with different file causing an error in creator.dll.

I've uninstalled ECD and reinstalled. That didn't work. So I uninstalled, then removed every Easy CD Creator and Roxio selection from my registery....that didn't work. I even downloaded an uninstaller program incase I was missing something. But that didn't even work. Does anyone know how to fix this? I really need to burn some VCDs.

I aslo tried downloading all of the updates from Roxio's website.

I tried using other programs to burn, but I can't get it the way I want it (the way I could get it with ECD). I want to have an intro clip, with a "movie" main menu, so I can put animations in it and stuff, along with the ability to select different tracks with the remote (press 1 for the first video clip, press 2 for the second, etc). Is there another program that can do this incase I can't get ECD to work again?

  2. Does anyone know of another program that can do what I need it to? I don't think I'm going to get EZCD to work.

Download VCDeasy from this site and use that instead. I found that when nothing else would work for me this worked a treat!
