  1. I have some movies saved as svcds they are mpgs so that is good. But when i try to open it with tmpgenc it says it is unsupported. How can i fix this, also can i fix this... Ive been killing myself trying convert these files.... Thanks

  2. i think yo uhave to demux the video and audio using the meg tool in tmpenc

    The error is common. You must have an MPEG-2 codec installed to open MPEG-2 video. You can also check your environmental settings in TMPGenc ( Options | Environmental Seetings ). Dry increasing the priority of the Direct Show filter to 1 or 2.

    They used to say that the MPEG-2 codec installed with PowerDVD also caused this problem, although I don't know if it was ever verified. Take that with a grain of salt.
