  1. Following some threads I realized that it is possible to burn in a SVCD an 805 Mb file maximum because the sectors are used in a different way than in a cdrom.
I have generated a 794 MB file, splitting a larger one and tried to make a SVCD with VCDEASY but the generated image is 913 MB and it was not possible to burn it.
I selected "use 2336 bytes sectors" but unsuccesfully.
How can I solve the problem ?
Is it a problem with VCDeasy (v 1.1.3) ? hopefully not because I like this prog.

Thank you for your help !

You mpg is not multiplexed correctly so VCDEasy is adding padding to it, which takes up alot of unnecessary space. Get TMPGenc and go file/simple demultiplex and use that to separate your audio and video into separate streams. You can then use the simple multiplex with SVCD output to generate a new mpg, but you should really use bbmpeg instead, as it is much more compliant than TMPGenc. In either case, all this takes maybe 10 mins.

Don't use 2336 bytes sectors unless you are using higher than 80 min cdrs, or I suppose if you are doing alot of overburning possibly. Just use the regular settings. Once you make the image it will still appear too large for an 80 min cdr. Disk images are always going to be larger than the data that actually gets burnt to the disk. Just make sure that your mpg is multiplexed correctly, and then you can go by the cd size at the bottom, where ~800mb's will fit on an 80 min cdr without overburning.
