    I have downloaded Media Player 9 for XP (stupid me!) and since then, I cannot get it to play ANY movies at all!
    I have downloaded all the necessary codecs, and the Media player update (which as far as I know are just codecs anyway).
    The trouble is I can play almost all movies from Real1 or from DivX player with no problems, but I dont like using these players.
    I know I canno uninstall Media Player 9, and right now, its just taking up valuable space on my PC. It's absolutely useless to me
    Does anyone know what I can do to get it to work?

    System Restore rid me of WMP9 quite nicely.
