I wonder if the IRA will be targeted by the coalition against terrorism. Ironic that they get most of their funding from the US isnt it. Will the US firstly look inward before out?

  3. Surely some Irish Americans regard the IRA as freedom fighters?

    What???
Thats like saying its ok - The IRA are a terrrorist oraganisation!
Its like saying: "Surely, some muslim Americans regard Bin Laden as a freedom fighter, so it makes it all right to kill innocent people in his cause."
Does that sound OK to you?

Did you not notice the very next day after the towers those silly buggers having a minute silence for the victims and then right afterwards going back to protesting about children going to school.
yes that's right children going to school..
rather silly holding a minutes silence and then carrying on with a protest that had nutters throwing pipe bombs towards young children.
The whole Irish situation is beyond belief whether it's ira or the "other side" (I know this was proddys doin the aggro stuff towards kiddies)
By the way I guess quite a few Americans will be re-thinking their funds to the bhoyos now that they've seen devastation closer to home.
    regards
