  1. I have a project on DVD Movie Factory 2 (trial version) that has one MPEG-2 file (a captured movie). I want a single menu that displays 6 thumbnails so I can go to specific points of the movie. The thing is that when I click on "Create Menu" and add my chapters, DMF2 puts these chapters in a sub-menu. The main menu has a button to go the sub-menu, but that's not what I want. I just want one main menu with the thumbnails.

If anyone has been able to do this, please let me know how. Thanks.

I don't think it's possible to do what you want to do with DVD Movie Factory 2.

You would be better using Spruceup for that.

  3. There is the option to cut your one clip into 6 small clips, then you could have your 6 buttons on the main menu

  7. aubrey_q,

I have been wanting to do this since I got DMF2, however I have not found a good way of doing it (the one mpeg, one menu thing). You can split the mpeg in DMF2, however, where ever you have a cut the video will have a delay for about 1 second. If you do this work around you must cut/split the mpeg where there is no video/audio or it will be obvious in the playback when it plays though a chapter point.

Ulead should fix this, we had it in DMF1.

  8. Yeah, if we had it in DMF1, I don't see why we don't have it in 2.

BTW, are you the same Dave from the Ulead forums?

  10. You can do it in SpruceUp (1 menu with thumbnail buttoms). Don't think it's possible in ULead
