problems whit tmpgenc .....

ive been busy adding sub title to avi/divx lately whit this tut

whitch was working fine until now.

when i have to open the .vdr file(made whit vurtual dub) whit tmpgenc to convert it, it freezes , i tried reinstalling everything but whitout luck

does anny1 know what to do about it??

(or an other good way to add the subs to the file)

Hi there.... I've posted this in a thread about two weeks ago. I promised Baldrick I would make a simple guide but I didn't get to that yet but here is the info on adding subtitles with the latest ffdshow alpha:

You must have the latest ffdshow (they released one in the first week of the year - http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow - get the alpha version). After installation run the configuration dialog. Be sure to associate divx movies with ffdshow. Now scroll down the menu (left) to subtitles and enter the path to the subtitles. You can set font/size/color and position here. Make sure the subtitlebox is checked and close the dialog. Now whenever you play a divx file the subtitles will be automatically added by ffdshow. So you can play the file in mediaplayer with subtitles and if you open your divx file in tmpg the subtitles will be there aswell. It works fine.
