Is there any way I can burn those at 2x on my A05 drive?
I have been looking at the available firmware and only version 1.0 and 1.21 are available right now. And some Sony 1.1 firmware also, but it wont install and I am not even sure what it could do even if I could install it.
I have 300 of those G03 and that should last me at least one year, so if i could burn at 2x that would be nice.

as of now, from what i know, no they can't be burned at 2x...just gotta wait for a newer firmware down the road, or a hacked one
you can't install the sony firmware because you don't have a sony drive...you can only install firmware compatible to your hardware -
The sony firmware I am talking about is for the Pioneer a05 drive:

Ritek says the G03 are only 1x in dvr-105 drive...G02s are 2x but they are no longer in production..kinda silly to have a new format thats going backwards...
