Hello I am going to get a new dvd burner soon to replace my old pioneer 105 that is really old and was looking at a pioneer 112 and a liteon 20al at my local walmart for 45.00 and was wondering what would be the better one to get? I have read good reviews for both over the years. I use mostly dvd-r and Verbatim media in general but sometimes use dvd+r here and there and sometimes Ritek dvd-r and +r media. I like to be able to use some cheaper media once in a while and I have used my other nec 3520 drive with no problems but need something to do about just as good. Thanks for any opinions.

PIONEER 112 or 115 are both good choices. Just my 2 cents!

Pioneer 112 or 115 would be my choice, but FYI NewEgg has either drive for $10 if not more less than the Walmart price with free shipping at times.
