    Has anyone had good luck burning the Ritek G03 (silver ones) at 2x with the pioneer a04/104. My drive has the newest firmware so I can't do it but if people say that burning these at 2x work then maybe I'll switch back down to the 1.31 firmware.

    I downgraded my DVR-A04 last night to 1.31 (this is not an official Pioneer release, but it is a LEGITIMATE Pioneer firmware version), which burned these disks at 2X (they were DATA disks). I ran a test on the archive structure and I had no problems.

    1.31 is the only legitimate version of firmware that will burn the Riteks at 2X. There are hacked versions of 1.40 that will burn anything at 2X.
