didnt know where to post this:
I'm not getting any sound when I encode quicktime files. I get video, but no sound. Nothing has changed except I wiped my hard drive and reinstalled. At the moment I'm useing the newest TRIAL version of TMPGE. PLease HELP!

try extracting the audio using virtualdub into a wav format. Make sure you covert it into a 44100hz first using the same program then encode it with TMPGeng. The help file for this can be found at this site:
