I've been trying out TMPGE Xpress and I was wondering if it applies all of the filters that are entered into the avs script? I ask this because I open up a video file with an .avs script in the program and when I got to the next section, all of the options such as framerate, 4:3 or 16:9, NTSC or PAL, etc. are not set as they are in the script. Do I have to select all of those options (if so, why bother with the script) or will TMPGE follow the options selected in .avs file and just pick the other filters in the program that I chose?

I'm just trying out the program since it was recommended. I've been using HC Encoder for making changes to MPEG2 video as well as converting AVI to MPEG2 for DVD. Its a lot faster and the quality is very good (and its free).

Does TMPGE Xpress have all of the same options as TMPGE Plus?
