  1. ive encoded using TMPG two nights in a row, each time producing horrendously jerky video. Im trying to go down in filesize obviously (movie is 16:9, 23.97 fps). Can someone post ALL of their TMPG settings that would work for this movie to prevent the proper video?

  3. try this tutorial on this site: http://www.digital-forums.com/dvd2dvdr/part3.htm ........the only thing you need to check is the field order..some movies are yop field and some are bottom field this will give you that jerky movie if the field order is incorrect....
