  1. How do I put 3 svcd's on a dvd to burn as a DVDR?

  2. For me I re-encoded each of the 3 MPG's files to the DVD standard using TMPGEnc.

From there all depends on your authoring/burning program. I use Maestro or DVD Workshop mostly.

  4. Well depends if you use CBR or VBR and what quality the SVCD where.
I had some that came from DVD Sources so I did one i did CBR with about 3000-3500 bit rate and the VBR one was done at 3200.

  7. depending on the file sizes you can merge them together then demux the
    merged file and burn that.

however, as mpeg file sizes get bigger the merge function tends to toss the audio sync out.

So I'd just load up dvd2avi - load all the mpegs in order, save the project
and re-encode in cce or tmpgenc.

  8. Strangely I've found many times DVD2AVI to be the source of my Audio sync issues. I just batch encode all my MPEG's now and merge them after.

If your DVD player supports Mpeg1/2 ISO, you don't have to re-encode anything. With Nero, select DVD-Rom (ISO) and drag the mpegs to be burned, then write to disk.

With the Apex AD1200, it will also play mpegs with multiple audio tracks but not the subtitles. I'm sure others will.
