  1. Right, this has only really started in the last 2 days. But I cant seem to write properly to DVD-R on my Pioneer A05 anymore.

I'm tryinh to write Mpeg & PVA files to DVD-R, which I have never had a problem doing in the last month, never a coaster upto now. And I'm still using the same media.

What happens is that I'm writing the disc as data using Nero5999. I've written more than a dozon DVD's this way so the method is not a problem. But every time I've tried writing a disc in the last 2 days, I've not been able to get it to burn. I get a error message saying "unexpected exception". When asked if I want to burn again or write a new disc I can opt to write another copy. This time it writes the dvd with no problems it seems. But I use the verify data setting to see if I can solve the problem. This of cause failed the disc.

I'm no good at translating just what the log means or which part is relevent to post here so I'll paste the log:

The data seems ok but when trying to play the files they just dont load into any media player I have.

I've also tried burning with both Discjuggler & InstantCD/DVDv6.5. These burn the files ok. But the results are the same, they just wont load into the media players I have.

I still have the original files on my hdd, they play fine so I know the problems cannot be with the files.

Now some 10 coasters later I'm getting frustrated as to the cause of the problem.
