This might be a stupid question. I'm using DVD2SVCD when ripping the James Bond collection. I just ripped Goldfinger and I've got two files of 847MB. Is it possible to burn them on a 80 min CD-R anyway without damaging the movie or the DVD-player?

It's highly unlikely that they would fit on an 80 minute, 800mb (mode-2) CD even with using overburn.

ok, thanks....Do you know what do I have to do? ripp it all over again with lesser good quality? I don't know jack about bitrates. I'm just using default settings on that

That's one option. The only other is to get some 90 min CD-R, which will swallow 847 MB without pushing it at all (provided your burner can burn that much...)
