Does anyone know when VirtualDub will support WDM drivers?

I've heard the WDM wrappers don't work very well. Do they work or not?

    Thanks!

I've been wondering the same thing. After getting my system to run smoothly for about a year, it suddenly started to drop a lot of frames. I haven't changed anything and I can't figure out where the problem is. I've spent the past week trying to see if it's a driver, software, or hardware related problem.

I just downloaded Virtual VCR tonight and it seems to be working. I don't want to speak too soon, lest I get jinxed. I don't know why, but it seems like my computer decided to stop "liking" the VFW>WDM wrapper, because it's passed all of my preliminary testing with Virtual VCR.

  3. Well, no one really knows if/when it will support wdm for sure... You can try v'dub's site, but I doubt it says more about that.

I tried the WDM wrappers and they did nothing for me. I still only have WDM Drivers as an option in VD. I'll stick with IuVCR for now.

    Thanks!

PS I checked VD's site and they say nothing about if they will add that support in the future.
