Now I have a problem from that issue.
I installed a Fortissimo III soundcard and it to a large extent solved my crackle problem.

Unfortunately when I switched on PowerVCR2 the sound was muted on my whole system.

So I tried another card.
An AUDIGY !! I know your gonna say CREATIVE arggggggggggghhhh!!
But my curiosity got the better of me.
Anyhow what an EXCELLENT sounding card.

Problem is my captures sound and look great in everything but 720 x 576.
In that resolution every now and then the picture flickers!!
I tried those universal drivers but I couldn't install them.
They kept reinstalling my old drivers even tho I had uninstalled them and used the uninstall on the btinstaller.

Any ideas???

If I dont solve this tonight I'm off for another card tomorrow but its not got the specs of the audigy.
I'd like to keep the card if I could solve the problem.
I have moved the cards around that helped a little but not 100%.

Getting a faster processor next month u reckon that would make any difference or is this a system confilct??
