  1. I wanted to get your opinion on projectors vs big screen tv. I just bought a Infocus (LP340B)

    Does anyone use a projector to watch movies? Or have you had any experience with this model? Whats better?

    not very good for video ... older style LCD , low resolution , this projector is designed for Pc display ..

    you should have got a Infocus X1 - and if you still can trade it .. do so ..

    the picture is really good on this projector and the price is great also ..

    (yes - i watch video on large screen 16 ' and 24' and up to 60' wide screens, also a smaller 9' wide screen) -

  3. well i paid $500 and it is supposed to be like new. With low hours.
    Did i get a deal at least?
    maybe i can sell it and buy the one you linked to.

    for 500$ -- that is great price ... ok really great price ... IF the LCD panel is not toasted (they dim out over time) ... with low hours should be no problem ...


    yes the X1 will have a much better picture but it is $1500 (which is still cheap) ...

    im guess you could sell your on ebay for about 750 - 900 .. not really sure i admit .. but at the price you paid for it .. try it out and see if happy w/ picture ..

    a good screen will really help ...
