  1. I'm upgrading my comp this week and was wondering which ram to get for my A7N8X Deluxe Edition mobo. Which concerns me is that the CPU has a 266FSB, and the PC3500 memory up to 433 MHz. Would the memory be to fast for the CPU and be a waste or does faster memory equals greater performance? I'm pretty sure they're different, but I just want to make sure. Also, I'm not sure if this board supports the ati radeon series as the home site was filled with geforce info. Any info, would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

This board supports DDR400. if you get the 433DDR you can use agressive memory timings which is where that motherboard really shines.

yes it will fully support the Ati card.

PS All DDR should be CAS2 not CAS2.5 if you can help it. However a CAS2.5 433 can be used as DDR400 CAS2.

  3. Yea Great CPU. Good pick, as long as you don't get the 2600+ or 2800+. To overclock the fsb on that cpu you have to cut a trace on the cpu. To unlock this cpu you only have to place on jumper with conductive paint. I think it's the group called L5, and the right most connection.
