Hi All
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but i have scoured the board and can't find a definitive answer.
I want to make SVCD's to play on my Apex DVD player but i'm not sure which resolution is best as the the higher you go, the higher the bitrate needs to be. I need to make PAL disks so is 480x576 or 720x576 best, the former being the correct SVCD resolution obviously. Whatever i capture in, it seems to be zoomed in when played on the DVD player, like the edges are cropped off.
Thankyou all.

yeah. if you capture at higher resolutions, the better the end file will be after converting.
