  1. Used CCE was left with a 3.1 gig file. What do I need to change to get the file (video) bigger. Say, up to about 4.1 gig? For max resolution.

  2. Use a bitrate calculator, there are several in the tools section.
You need to change the Average bitrate (for VBR) or the constant bitrate for CBR encoding

  3. Yes I understand the rate calc and that stuff I used them in rempeg & tmpgnc but, In CCE I have one pass VBR Min bit rate to 0 and max bit rate to 9800. That yielded the small file about 3.1 gig. Seems odd?
