    i just used Smart Ripper and was able to burn Dead Alive (widescreen) version to a DVD+rw....but when i play the burned disk the movie is not in widescreen...how can i fix this?

    Open the ifo file for themovie in IFOEDIT and look the line for movie,does it say movie 4:3 or movie 16:9??

    I had the same problem, but opposite. Try this:
    1) Open your main movie IFO in Ifoedit: VTS_xx_0.IFO. If your main movie is VTS_01, then open VTS_01_0.IFO.

    2) In the bottom half of the screen, scroll down to "Title Set (Movie) Attributes"

    3) Look at the "Video" line in this section to see if it says 16:9 or 4:3. If it's 4:3, that's fullscreen. Double click on this line, and a box should come up that lets you change it to 16:9.

    4) Save
    This worked for me; I don't know enough to know if it works always (still a newbie myself). Good luck.
