  1. HELP!!! I just bought some VCD's and want to play them on my PC, but they wont play. Do i need some specific software? Someone please help - thanks.

  2. Ok let me know if this helps open windows media player, where it says files scroll down to "all files" then you should see something like AVSEQ1.DAT open that and it should play, hope this helps!

  3. oops forgot to mention in media player go to file open first then browse if d is your cd rom click that then do the all files .

  4. Thanks for the help - I look around on the web and found that if you download XingPlayer for MPEG, this will play the VCD's.

    Another question I have is weather this VCD will play on my Toshiba DVD player - any thought on this? Thanks again for your help.

  5. If your VCDs are pressed discs, they will almost certainly play.

    If your VCDs are CD-Rs, then it depends on whether or not your DVD player can read CD-R/W media.
