    Hi there,

I posted here a lot and I've always found good replies. I tried a lot of methods to capture from my VCR and I noticed that, with ATI MMC application, capturing in MP2 format (DVD preset) produce a good result. But I can't open this file with VirtualDub nor TMPGenc. How to resolve this problem ? Thanks a lot !

You can use virtualdubmod to open mpeg2 and convert to divx/avi, rename the mpg to vob first and the open it. Or you can use vidomi or windows movie maker to convert to wmv.
http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/ you need virtualdubmod and the virtualdubneeddll

If you want to convert to svcd/vcd you can either install powerdvd and you should be able to open mpeg2 in tmpgenc or use this method
