OK I have 200+ small mpg files (created with TMPGEnc) that are descriptively named. For example: In the bushes.mpg, House.mpg, Baby001.mpg, etc. etc. etc.. Mostly just home video segments captured with a small video cam then encoded to MPG2 format.
What I want to do is put all of them together into a single large movie. But I would like to title each of the segments so I know what I'm watching for example:
3 seconds green or black background screen with the text 'Baby001' then it transitions into the Baby001.mpg movie, then transition to another screen with txt Bushes then transition to the bushes movie, etc. etc. until all of the movies are wrapped together and each segment has a short title screen before hand.
But.. Doing this with the POS software that came with my DVD writer (Showbiz) would take me years lol.. So is there any free or cheap or affordable software that can do this for me? All I need is the file name of the file used as a short introductory title.. Please help me out if you know of any tool that might save me some time? Thanks!

Fx Movie Joiner http://www.jhepple.com/fx_joiner.htm <-- This is similair to what I want to do, but it doesn't add the titles automatically and it doesn't do it in the software itself. It's the only thing I could find tho?
