    Im using TMPGEnc but im wondering what are the best codec's to use? Im using Divx 5.0.2, but i hear people talking about 3.11 alpha, ect..

    What are you encoding and what type of machine are you primarily playing the video on? This will help find a good codec 4 U
    Panasonic DMR-ES45VS, keep those discs a burnin'

    Well i usually encode Avi's that i get off the net. I also play it on my stand alone JVC XV-S500BK dvd player.

    I also have a PIII 500mhz computer that I encode them with and watch them on before I burn them.
