    Ive just got a hold of a capture card and i just wondered if there was an easy guide out there to tell me how to get the captured avi's on to dvd so it plays through my dvd player. any help would be greatly accepted.

    I'm new here myself, but..

    While I don't think there's a guide specifically for that, the info is all there. I'm sure there's a guide for avi -> dvd. See the green "HOW TO" section with newbie, author, capture, etc.? It's all there.
