Memorex DVD+RW/+R media compatibility

Hey i recently got a Memorex Internal DVD+RW/+R and i was wondering what all media its compatible with. If it is +R does it only support DVD+R discs?? or can it also support DVD-R??? thanks

I seriously doubt it does -R as it would then be a direct competitor to the Sony DRU-500A which there has been no chatter on another player with dual capability.

hi! i have this drive and i think it's great! it will only work with dvd+r/rw disks.
I would also like to know if anyone else has used any other brands of media with this drive as i've only used memorex brand. will it work with 'cheap' media?

I too have memorex dvd+r/rw drive, received for xmas. I absolutley love this drive after 3 days of gruling searching and desperation then finally figuring out how to burn cds. anyways, i tried maxell dvd+r and they work just fine.
