I've just bought a new computer with burner (40x12x40)
If the CDr's are designed for 32x, is there any reason why I should'nt try a VCDEASY burn at these speeds?

I have got a 40X12X48 CD Burner, and when I have burned a VCD, and let Nero Burning Rom, determine the maximum speed, it has determined it at 24X, and when I burned that VCD, it turned out to not work properly. With all the vcd's I make, I basically 100% of the time use 4X even though the cd burner is capable of alot faster. The reason for this, is simply because it reduces the amount of cds you waist, because when I have in the past been in a hurry to burn something, and done it at the fastest possible speed, I usually come out with a non working cd, so it only seems to work for me occassionally. So To save the amount of cds you waste, I would suggest burning at a lower speed, but that's not to say that if you did burn at the highest speed it won't work, but you have a much higher risk of it not working if you burn at a high speed.
